Lisa Campbell Albert ( she/her ) › Music Director, The Spitfire Grill

Will Bonfiglio is a St. Louis theatre artist and educator. He received his MA in Theatre and Performance Studies from Washington University in St. Louis. In addition to acting, directing, and producing on area stages, Will works as an intimacy director and consultant with Rachel Tibbetts. They have recently partnered on productions with Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, Webster University’s Sargent Conservatory of Theatre Arts, Saint Louis University, and John Burroughs School. They enjoy continuing their studies of best practices for staging intimacy through a variety of organizations, including Theatrical Intimacy Education and IDC (Intimacy Directors & Coordinators).

Originally from Belleville, IL, Lisa received her Bachelor of Music from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, IL and Master of Music from Webster University in St. Louis. Presently, she serves on the faculty of Webster University’s Sargent Conservatory of Theatre Arts where she teaches song analysis and vocal coaching. Previously, she resided on faculty in both the Performing Arts and Music Departments at Washington University, where she received the ArtSci Council Faculty Award for Excellence in Teaching. Lisa served as Music Supervisor/Music Director at STAGES ST. LOUIS from 2008 to 2020, receiving both a Kevin Kline Award for Outstanding Musical Direction (2011) and a Broadway World STL Award for Outstanding Musical Direction for five consecutive years (2014–2018). Lisa is a teacher and coach to performers nationally and internationally, including Taylor Louderman ( Mean Girls, Bring It On, Keenan ) and Elizabeth Teeter ( Beetlejuice ). Lisa proudly announced her new book on song analysis, The Moment Before the Music Begins , co-written with Webster University Professor Emeritus Bill Lynch and published on Histria Books, in August 2022. Vanecia “Xulee” Boone ( she/her ) › Dialect Coach, Blood at the Root

Vanecia “Xulee” Boone is an actress, director, professor and voice coach, originally from Greensboro, NC. Vanecia received her MFA from University of Nevada Las Vegas in 2013. Vanecia has directed Shakespeare’s Taming of the Shrew and Othello , as well as produced her original devised production Mend-A-City: The Movement over the last 7 years at various theatres and universities. Other directing credits include, Ntozake Shange’s For Colored Girls and Konvergence with the African American Student Association for Theatre and Film. Her recent acting credits include Mad at Miles: A Black Woman’s Guide to Truth, Barbecue, Crowns, and Shug Avery in The Color Purple . Vanecia is a committee member of the Amplify: Black Voices festival, which brings together colleges all over North Carolina to produce plays, by new and upcoming black playwrights. She has been a voice and dialect coach for several productions including The Revolutionist with the Triad Stage and Fairview at the University of West Connecticut.
