RN-BSN Nursing Program

In keeping with the Sumner College mission, the RN-BSN Program provides a quality educational program for registered nurses to build upon their existing skills and abilities and attain intellectual growth and development to reach the level of baccalaureate generalist nursing practice in a safe and secure learning environment.

Goals/Objectives of the Registered Nurse - Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing Program

Provide a high-quality and learner- centered nursing program to support practicing nurses continuing education towards a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. Engage qualified faculty with diverse clinical knowledge and skills who maintain expertise through self- directed lifelong learning. Incorporate national and organizational guidelines, research, and best practices in nursing and education to provide a high-quality and comprehensive program. Maintain accountability to our communities of interest through adherence to the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) Standards of Accreditation and Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) Evaluation Standards.
