HASHSTACS – Blockchain For Finance
Project BOLEH
Project BOLEH (Bonds on Ledger) is a project focused on managing the entire trade lifecycle of a digital bond on STACS Blockchain. Through usage of new technology, Hashstacs alongside various financial institution aims to create a bonds hub in Malaysia. Expected project delivery by Q3 2020.
Various regulatory questions exist on usage of new technology applied on existing processes.
COVID-19 movement controls also hinder more active interactions between participants.
Project Kampung
Project Kampung is a research project between Hashstacs, University Utara of Malaysia, IIUM Institute of Islamic Banking & Finance, and the Rochester Institute of technology. The project looks at how new technology can address home affordability and ownership issues. Predominantly shifting from a debt-based mortgage financing mechanism towards an equity-based model, the project aims to aid home ownership through shared equity and wealth accumulation.
The project requires some form of change management process from the industry and will likely take some time to approach and engage with various stakeholders.

Y.A Harumanis Project
IBV Malaysia will provide Y.A. Harumanis with Blockchain traceability solution to protect their brand from mango sellers who claim to sell Harumanis mangoes and Perlis Sunshine mangoes, which are only in season between the end of March to early June. This also protects the consumer from buying counterfeit mangoes via verified information and guaranteed supply chain transparency. Targeted for 2020 season, it was initially to commence on 20/03/2020 with the 100 Days Promotion at AEON Taman Maluri and AEON Shah Alam as well as direct sales via YA Harumanis channels (agents). Consumers are able to scan the QR Code sticker on each individual mango and info that will be on the QR Code GPS of the farm, info of the company, the mangoes (including a guideline on when the best time to consume) as well as certificates from gov agricultural agencies.
Due to the current pandemic of COVID-19 and MCO in Malaysia, the 100 Days Promotion at AEON could not be done but the blockchain traceability implementation was still carried out. With 35 tonnes of mangoes projected to be tracked (estimated 500,000 WOWTRACE QR Codes) it was successfully done during the MCO. In order to adapt to the “new normal”, Y.A Harumanis had a promotion throughout the MCO period for delivery services to their customers’ doorsteps and received very positive responses.

A project requested by Golden Globe Services to facilitate traceable and reliable online food ordering and platform. This platform is to protect both seller and buyer, with unbiased reviews strengthened using blockchain technology.
Health monitoring device using blockchain and IoT
A life saver IoT project, to develop wearable smart watch that aims to trace user’s lifestyle and health condition. It is incorporated with AI engine to analyze user’s daily data and blockchain technology for a secured data storage and sharing with agreed medical service provider.
Green technology solar smart grid using blockchain technology
A Smart grid project, aim to distribute power in most efficient way and developing energy trading using AI sensors and Blockchain Task Loader.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) based corona virus tracker system
A Corona Virus Adhoc project, to perform prediction and determine the possible existed infected chain that may have a higher or lower infection probability.
The system uses state-of-art deep learning method to cluster and learn user’s history based on location and date.
