For Director 7 Nick Lee, attending Road to Senior Director was a game changer as he felt that not only did it reinforce his belief but it also helped his team members understand and gain a better perspective of Melaleuca, its compensation plan and business building strategies, as well as effective ways of doing the 7 Critical Activities. “All the training sessions and sharing of success stories helped to re-ignite the passion we have and recharge all of us,” he quipped. General Manager of Melaleuca Malaysia, Chew Ai- Leen took the opportunity to share with the attendees on how they can fast-track to Senior Director, reinforcing that it all depends on oneself. She said, “Each of you are here because you want to change your life and make your dreams come true. Don’t wait for someone to give you a better life on a silver platter-that’s not going to happen. It all starts with you making a decision. You can absolutely reach your goals if you believe in yourself, are willing to get out of your comfort zone and take constructive steps to make them happen!”

Director 9 Musliati Moslimin is taking all that she has learnt in the past two days as a call to action, saying, “I truly understand the importance of owning the business and leading by example. I also learnt that the 7 Critical Activities guarantee sustainability, which I didn’t fully understand previously. It also made me realize that this is a marathon and hence, I reset my goal to achieve Senior Director by December.” The valuable knowledge and insights that the participants gained certainly served as an inspiration to take ownership of their Melaleuca business and embrace the mission of enhancing the lives. The path to Senior Director is a yellow brick road that is closer to reality now more than ever.

Road to Senior Director - From Good to Great!

Road to Senior Director, held on July 7th and 8th at Nexus Connexion in Bangsar South, saw its highest turnout yet - with 140 Marketing Executives keen to gain valuable knowledge and skills to advance their business to Senior Director and beyond. The bi-annual event was a wealth of knowledge spread over two days, with workshops by Melaleuca’s corporate team and successful business leaders providing solid insights, tips and trainings on how to take your Melaleuca business from good to great. Attendees had the opportunity to learn how to build a business to last a lifetime, deliver effective presentations, execute successful retention strategies, develop and duplicate leadership, and to learn more about Melaleuca’s culture, business building principles and beliefs. It was also an inspirational journey for most as business leaders shared their success stories and impetus for change, leading them to where they are today.

Jeremiah Nelson, International Director of Coaching and Field Development kicked off the workshop with his leadership training on Overcoming Obstacles. It was a session that hit home with many, as Jeremiah expressed, “The Melaleuca business can sometimes be an emotional roller-coaster, with ups and downs. Rejection affects us emotionally, mentally and psychologically. Often times, it’s our own personal doubt that stops us. However, if you believe in yourself, don’t dwell on failure and navigate through the ups and downs, you will be amazingly successful.” Sharing her thoughts, Director 6 Fadilah Natasya Foo said, “This workshop has motivated me to translate inspiration into action and perform better. It’s clearer to me how my daily activities are necessities to a sustainable business. I understand that each action is a small win that will perpetuate more small wins throughout the journey, making it easier to develop habits of success in Melaleuca.”
