Need something to take for Christmas festivities? Try Mrs. Barbara’s Chocolate Cobbler TART SHELLS INGREDIENTS: • 2 sticks butter
• 2 ½ cups sugar, divided • 1 ¼ cups self-rising flour • 1 tsp. vanilla • ¾ cup milk • 6 TBS. cocoa • 2 cups boiling water
Preparation: Melt butter and pour into 9x13 baking dish. Mix 1 ½ cups of sugar, self-rising flour, vanilla and milk in a bowl. (mixture will be thick) Pour over butter, DO NOT STIR.
Mix 1 cup of sugar and cocoa. Sprinkle over dough mixture.
Pour 2 cups boiling water over all.
Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes to an hour.
