HOW THE WEALTHIEST BUSINESS OWNERS SUCCEED THROUGH STRUCTURE Why Structure and Scale Are the Keys to Reaching 6 and 7 Figures

It’s become fashionable for young entrepreneurs to run around with T-shirts and hats that all say “hustle” and “grind,” like it’s some kind of badge of honor. And it’s true. You do need some hustle and grind when you first open your business. You need to get your doors open and start turning a profit as soon as possible, because otherwise, you’re just losing money.

After that point, you can keep hustling and grinding … but only up to $100,000 a year.

They’ll start tweaking the structure to make it even more effective, or they’ll invent entirely new projects that help you bring in even more money.

That sounds pretty good, right? Except here’s the thing: If you want to STAY at that level, or even grow your income beyond that, hustle and grind starts to get pretty dangerous. I know, because for me, hustle and grind turned into a heart attack scare. It turned out to actually be a panic attack and essential tremors, but it still sucked, and I don’t want you to have to go through anything like that.

Your A players are the ones you want to cherish and promote to location manager positions as you expand. Scale Creates Wealth Once you have a well-structured Fit Body, the fastest and most reliable way to grow your income is to expand into multiple locations. Think of it this way: If you completely dominate your area, and every possible prospect in your community is already working out with you, that doesn’t leave a lot of room to sell new memberships, does it? That’s a pretty sweet problem to have … but if you’re anything like me, when you get to that point, you’ll still want to help more people and keep growing your income.

So, instead, you need to focus on structure and scale, which is what I’m talking about here.

Structure Creates Leaders The beauty of the FBBC business model is that we’ve created most of the structure for you already. You just have to follow the instructions on FBBC University and ask your coach if you have any questions.

So, the solution is to open new markets for yourself in adjacent or nearby territories.

Once you have structure installed, it’s going to become immediately obvious who your C player, B player, and A player employees are.

And since FBBC is already a franchise model, it’s literally been designed for you to easily copy your success from one location to the next.

Your C players are the ones who still struggle and under deliver, even after you’ve given them an easy-to-follow system. In these cases, you just need to bite the bullet and fire them, because they’re losing you money. Your B players are the ones who can reliably follow the system and keep delivering the same results as expected. They may not wow you, but they are at least going to keep your revenue stable.

Plus, we have a process specifically for coaching current owners through the process of opening multiple locations.

So, when you’re ready to scale up, build your wealth, and open multiple locations, just reach out to Oleg at oleg@fitbodybootcamp.com.

FROM STRUGGLING PERSONAL TRAINER TO MOTIVATED FIT BODY OWNER, JUSTIN BERG COULDN’T BE MORE READY TO CRUSH IT HOW FIT BODY GAVE JUSTIN BERG HOPE

They say what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.

To Justin, Fit Body is much more than your average business opportunity. It’s also a chance to connect with clients and enrich their lives with health, fitness, and wellness. “I want Fit Body to be a platform for me, not only to impact the community but also the world we live in,” Berg says. There’s still a lot more to learn for Berg, who’s a newcomer to the small- business world. “Every day, I’m learning something new,” he says. “It’s been fun, exciting, overwhelming, and scary, but I know that I have an awesome support system (of fellow owners and the team at HQ) here for me whenever I need it. I’d say I’m not quite over the hump yet, but I’m a lot closer now than where I started.” Justin’s on the up and up, but he never forgets the struggles he’s had to overcome. So, what’s his advice to other fitness professionals considering the jump to own a Fit Body franchise?

There’s no coincidence, then, that Fit Body’s newest owner, Justin Berg, is on the cusp of opening the hottest fitness center in Brookfield, Wisconsin. “I was turned down 12 times for personal training jobs,” says Berg. “It was frustrating and discouraging at times as I wondered what in the world I was doing wrong.” That was Justin’s life until, one day, he found a Fit Body ad while browsing the web for personal training jobs. He decided to go all-in on buying a franchise, and what he learned from it completely changed his life. He says, “I learned that you can’t do it by yourself, and that it’s okay to ask for help — all the sleepless nights planning, preparation, phone calls, marketing, ordering, payroll, etc.” That was what appealed to Justin the most. Not only would he get the chance to own a successful small business, but he wouldn’t burn out trying to keep that business afloat himself. He’d have the backing and resources of a world-renowned franchise supporting him. How did Justin make it out of the throes of breaking into the fitness industry? Well, for one, he’s spent the past 16 years enjoying the benefits of fitness, and those years of personal growth pushed him to “give back something in return” to others, which gave him a strong purpose to pursue a career in personal training. Now, he’s on the verge of opening his own location, having just signed the lease for the building.

“I’d say go for it,” he says. “This might be the best life-changing decision of your life.” He adds, “I know we’re all human, so we have every right to be skeptical and ask, ‘Is this too good to be true?’ But from the very moment I decided to let go of that fear of ‘what if’ and go over the bridge of faith, everything became so much clearer.” Justin found the perfect place to achieve his fitness dreams. Maybe more importantly, he found hope.

HQ SPOTLIGHT: CRYSTAL LIZAMA

HOW FBBC’S DIRECTOR OF FRANCHISE OPERATIONS GIVES YOU THE FANTASTIC SUPPORT YOU DESERVE

You can call Crystal Lizama many things: disciplined, passionate, leader … heck, even an MMA fighter.

that’s how we’re able to rock out and assist 500-plus owners with their businesses.” For Crystal, she owes her personal and professional success to routine and structure, something she says she learned from growing up playing multiple sports. Her take: “That’s how you’re able to accomplish a lot of things and achieve your goals. If you’re not structured in your day, you’re gonna be that person that says, ‘I want to do this,’ but then you never do.” Crystal and ops are ready to take the second half of this year by storm. What’s in store? “We’re making a done-for-you printing and promotional item portal with flags, banners, swag, etc. — with the lowest prices around! This will make it easier for you to get on-brand materials for your grand opening or promotional events.” Here are a few other fun facts about Crystal: Her favorite movie is “Rocky IV,” she’d love to hike to Machu Picchu, Peru, and she was the subject of the nationally-televised documentary “Cage Fighting in the USA,” which followed her budding career as a mixed martial artist.

Most of all, you can call her motivated.

“I’m always doing something proactive,” she says. “If I’m not, I’ll feel like I’m missing out on possible opportunities.” It’s these qualities that have taken Crystal, Fit Body’s longest-tenured employee, to the height of her profession. She’s now Fit Body’s director

of franchise operations, overseeing new franchisee onboarding processes, internal franchise process structure, the Territory Department, and the Coaching Department. She’s also assisting compliance, negotiating deals with vendors, and implementing more efficient systems for her team at the HQ!

So how does Crystal get so much out of her team?

“We enjoy doing our work as efficiently as possible and trying to assist as many owners as we can,” she says. “The team’s chemistry is fantastic! We are a pro-level team that is filled with positive vibes and high energy;

HOW TO SELL FITNESS TO ALL PERSONALITY TYPES UNDERSTANDING YOUR PROSPECTS’ NEEDS TO CLOSE MORE SALES

To be a great salesperson, you have to be a pro closer.

The way to reach an analyst is to target their deep, emotional need and give them facts and figures that will help them satisfy that need. Pro tip: Don’t be afraid to nerd out in front of them; they’ll appreciate your passion, even if they don’t share the same interest. The Promoter The promoter is the life of the party. They’re the most outgoing and friendly of the personalities, and they have a zest for life. To get in with the promoter, you have to bring the fun! They’re easy to close, but they have very little focus, which means you need to keep them entertained and engaged if you want them to stay, pay, and refer. A bonus? The promoters are natural-born sellers to everyone they know, a trait that will bring you more referrals! The Supporter The supporters are nurturing and more focused on feelings than facts. They’re highly emotional beings, and they usually start out with low self- esteem. This is where you, as the seller, need to emotionally support them. Show them that they are part of a group and acknowledge their feelings, and they will trust you and become loyal. The more supporters you have in your tribe, the more community-driven your environment will be — supporters are naturally a perfect fit for our culture!

What makes a pro closer? Someone who can close eight or nine prospects out of every 10. Now, it’s one thing to have a general formula to sell your memberships to anyone who comes in for a consultation. It’s another thing to take the time to understand how to effectively sell to the four main personality types and increase your sales. Let’s dive into these personality types and how you need to reach them to close. The Controller The controller is by far the toughest personality to sell to because of their stubborn, dominant, and formal nature. To win them over, be professional and efficient and show them that you’re the best of the best. One great thing about controllers is they’re very decisive people. If they decide your service is worth their time, they’ll be loyal to you for a long time — maybe even for life! The Analyst The analyst is someone who thrives off of rules and information, but they’re not comfortable taking the reins in a conversation or making big decisions.

EXCLUSIVE FBBC MASTERMIND ROCKS THE NEW HQ! PAGE 4

EXCLUSIVE FBBC MASTERMIND ROCKS THE NEW HQ! THE SCOOP ON THE WORLD-CLASS EVENT THE FAMILY CAN’T STOP TALKING ABOUT

Boy, isn’t it always great to get the family together?

The mastermind held two contests for owners. One — called the “Business Transformation Contest” — put a few of our owners on the spot, to say the least! Some of our highest-performing earners gave their “blueprints to success.” You won’t find any better “do’s and don’ts” lists than these!

Our brand-new headquarters hosted its first FBBC Mastermind from June 28–30! FBBC Mastermind members gathered to learn the best sales, marketing, referral, and closing strategies — and absorb a high-performance mindset from our top owners. Day one kicked off with a Topic Tables discussion, hosted by Bedros, Josh Carter, and Samantha Taylor. Each mastermind member got the chance to pick the brains of Fit Body’s best, and they weren’t disappointed! Stumped on your next marketing game plan? Josh has the fix for you. Need an honest heart-to-heart about the state to your business? Just talk with Samantha (she’s known for her deep talks with owners). Day two is “Teaching Day” for the mastermind group. This is where B, Samantha, and Josh divulge the secrets to rapidly expanding into multiple locations. This was perfect for the empire-minded owners who won’t be satisfied until they’ve opened locations all over their county or city and become the undisputed fitness experts for miles around.

The second contest was called the “HAWT Body Challenge.” You’d agree that you should be in shape as a trainer, right? That’s why FBBC designed this challenge: to provide rock solid accountability for owners that have put off looking their physical best. One male and one female winner of the contest split a large pot of money, so the stakes were as high as it gets!

Our next mastermind event will be in October! To see if you qualify to join the FBBC Mastermind, apply at fbbcuniversity.com/coaching/fbbc-mastermind.
