Kiwi Banana Shake • 1 ½ cups of ice • 1 - 2 kiwis (or more if you love kiwi) • 1 - 2 bananas (depending how thick you like it!)

Berry blast You can’t beat this one to blast off your day with a healthy energy boost. Full of fibre, potassium and anti- oxidants, it’s low on soda too. • ¾ cup of fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, blackberries etc) • ½ cup plain or vanilla yoghurt • ½ cup fruit juice (preferably berry or white grap)

Pulse in a blender until reaches consistency.

Mango marvel This unusual recipe not only provides great nutritional benefits, but explodes in your mouth with flavour! • 1 cup chopped ripe mango • ¼ avocado, peeled, pitted, and chopped • ½ cup mango sorbet • ¼ cup skim milk

Pour all ingredients into blender.

Peargurt! • (16 ounce) can pears with juice, or use firm fresh pears • 1 cup plain low-fat yogurt • 1 banana • 2 tablespoons honey (or less if you don’t have a sweet tooth) • 1 dash ground nutmeg

• 2 tablespoons honey • 2 teaspoons lime juice • ¼ cup crushed ice

Blend, pour into tall glasses and decorate with slices

of fresh mango.
