No, there must be something else as a part of the genuine trade-mark of the goods of God and it is clear to me that the Cross must appear lit lip by the light which shines through an empty tomb, a Cross that is lit with the light of the truth of the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ, the God man. Tlie Trade-Mark This, then, is the trade-mark that should appear on every Christian’s life, to make him as a man dead and risen with Christ, alive unto God. Yes, and it should ap pear on every message spoken or written in the effort to life Christ up. To tell of Christ’s wondrous teachings and bid men emulate them, won’t do unless somewhere about the advertisement there appears the Cross, shining in the glory of the riven tomb. “None genuine without this trade mark”—“For there is none other name under heaven, given among men, whereby we must be saved.” Friend, have you seen God’s Great Advertisement, Jesus Christ, lifted up on the Cross for your faith to read and to believe? Have you said with all your heart,—-“I’ll buy that remedy-—I’ll believe that fact, and become a new man in Christ Jesus?” Brother of the faith, are your arms stretched out and up with the holy burden of a Saviour’s Cross, so that self- bitten men can see Him and believe and live? God help us, every one.
