During the past 50 years—the first half of the 20th century—more prophecies have been ful­ filled than in all the 1900 years previous. History is moving with startling rapidity toward the return of the Lord Jesus. The great trends of today portend this event, —political trends such as the one world government idea, social trends such as communism and socialism, religious trends such as a one world church and the denial of the Lord Jesus Christ as Son of God and only Saviour, etc. These are great days in which to he alive. Let us lift up our eyes and look up, for our redemption draweth nigh. STUDY QUESTIONS 1. Psalm 2 is a prophecy of the situa­ tion politically in the end days prior to the return of Christ. With what question does the Psalm open? 2. How would you answer this ques­ tion? Is it not because the nations are in rebellion against God and His Word and will? 3.
