Fort Worth Police Department Strategic Plan

The following staff and functions remain at the 350 W. Belknap, and occupy the basement and four floors of that facility. Each division requires relocation in order to finalize the sale of the facility to Tarrant County and/or terminate costs for leased space:

The Police Department, Property Management Department, Information Technology Solutions Department, Law Department, Planning & Development Department, Economic Development, City Administration, and other departments worked cooperatively to identify relocation options for 350 W. Belknap workgroups since 2012. This includes:

Legal evaluation, design, & analysis of alternative jail service options Series of cost-benefit/financial analysis of short-term & long- term options Series of space planning analysis repurposing other existing city and LDC owned facilities Presentations to the City Manager through monthly Capital Planning Meetings Participation in the City’s Capital Improvement planning and ranking processes Submitted 350 W. Belknap project in all Capital Improvement Plans since 2012 Identify and tour of alternative sites for acquisition, renovation & construction options Presentation by City Manager to City Council in Executive Session
