Mark Hammerton

Worker status issues including contingent and agency workers and recruitment services agreements for major corporates Implementation of new terms and conditions - including dismissal and re- engagement of thousands of staff on a risk-managed basis Mark frequently chairs conferences and trains on issues including TUPE (e.g. the ACAS TUPE conference), effecting organisational change, HR horizon scanning and updates. Sessions can be targeted for managers, HR and Legal and union/employee representatives.

Mark is a Partner in our Human Resources Practice Group with over 20 years' experience in employment law, including: TUPE exercises in major projects - including assessing bids, strategies for minimising/maximising the application of TUPE and drafting HR and Mobilisation Plans  Disciplinary issues - advising on the process up to and including clerking hearings, dismissal of senior executives under formal processes and executive terminations under settlement terms (including #me-too scenarios) Mass equal pay claims including playing a key role in a metropolitan council resolving claims for £20m, a fifth of the exposure

Jenny Mann

Jenny is a Principal Associate in our Human Resources practice group. She handles both contentious and non- contentious matters, providing pragmatic advice to employers on a wide range of employment issues. Jenny has particular expertise in restrictive covenants and confidential information from both a drafting and enforcement perspective in the High Court. She regularly advises private and publicly listed companies on senior executive service agreements and terminations, TUPE and the employment aspects of corporate transactions and IPOs. Jenny advises a diverse range of clients but has notable experience in the water sector.

Jenny's recent experience includes: representing a financial services company in a complex High Court action against a former employee regarding misuse of confidential information ; Dealing with the employment aspects of the restructure of a plc Board (including the preparation and negotiation of executive service agreements, settlement agreements Changes to non-executive director status and prospectus wording); and coordinating pan-European employment advice while on secondment to a global science and technology company.

Chloe Themistocleous

Chloe is an Associate, specialising in Employment Law.

Chloe has also successfully conducted large scale redundancy litigation cases involving up to 350 parties. In addition to her Employment Tribunal work, Chloe provides employment law and human resources advice and training to businesses.

Chloe originally trained as a barrister and was called to the bar in 2012, before cross qualifying to become a solicitor in 2016. In light of this, Chloe is a strong litigator, and she regularly represents businesses in the Employment Tribunal. Chloe has a wealth of experience acting for both Respondents and previously Claimants in Tribunal litigation, including claims for unfair dismissal, all types of discrimination and whistleblowing.

James Boffey

James Boffey joined Acas in 2015. He started initially in the Dispute Resolution arm of Acas, as a first point of contact for employees with potential Tribunal claims before moving into Training and Advisory work in early 2017. Since then he has worked with a range of public and private sector organisations across the North West, working with both staff and management

James provides advice, training and support to improve employment relations and business performance. Prior to joining Acas, James worked in prison education, teaching English to male offenders
