UAL - Associate Director Estates Management

The Role

Reporting to the Director of Estates, the Associate Director Estates Management and Development will be responsible for the strategic direction of the University’s Real Estate, Projects and Facilities Management activities. Key aspects of the role are leading on the strategic asset management of the estate including estate rationalisation, option appraisal and development appraisal, planning consideration, acquisition and disposal and acting as UAL’s property lead on landlord and tenant matters. You will also take leadership responsibility for the teams delivering estate improvement projects and facilities management services. The successful candidate will have gained significant experience in real estate management roles across diverse, mixed-use, urban property portfolios. You will have gained experience at a strategic level specifically relating to masterplanning, development appraisal, estate rationalisation and planning and will be experienced in leading acquisitions and disposals either in a client side or client advisor role. Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills are essential as you will need to work successfully with and present to a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders whilst leading and inspiring an internal team of estates professionals.
