Short film “Dear little Razor” This short film is a
visual journey through maxon’s history. It was created for our 60th anniversary in 2021.
1967: The first motors Braun is sold to Gillette, and Interelectric now fully commits to producing electric motors. During this time, maxon engineers invent the principle of the ironless winding and secure world- wide patents for it.
1979: First subsidiary Interelectric is already supplying products abroad, but now it begins building its own sales structures. In Munich, the company establishes its first subsidiary, which from then on serves its German customers.
From 2000: Expansion Since its founding, maxon has grown steadily. In the year 2000, the company reaches 1,000 employees for the first time. maxon continues to invest in innovation and production, expanding its capacities.
2025: Third innovation award In November, maxon receives the Innovation Award from the Central Switzerland Chamber of Industry and Commerce. The “High Efficiency Joint” robotics joint is honored. maxon previously won the award in 1996 and 2010.
