The Arbor Gallery’s sixth annual Eros exhibition of erotic art began on February 11 with artwork from 10 local artists. Artists were onsite on February 14 to meet the public and discuss their art. The pieces included paintings, drawings, and textiles. “We try to get a range of outlooks,” said curator John Olsthoorn. “It is always very diverse.” This year’s exhibition focused on the influences of erotic art and its creation. Artists were asked to emphasize on classic, modern, and contemporary literature including film, poetry, novels, theatre, lyrics, and the spoken word.
