Summary: The Marketing and Advertising Controller participates in the creation and development of various Web communities by hosting discussions as well as putting forward the new content, services and features. All in an effort to increase the number of community members and their activity level. The incumbent takes care of the corporation’s branding and everything related to social media, as well as the update of the Counties’ website and any related advertising project on it. This position will occasionally act as a substitute for the person responsible for corporate communications and will be part of a team responsible for special projects or events. Requirements: • University degree in Marketing, Communication, Public Relations, Management or other related field; • Two years of experience in online marketing, with particular experience in stimulating participation in social media; • Good knowledge of MS Office software and Web software; • Knowledge of ADOBE Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and In- Design); • Excellent skills in writing and editing of texts, in English and in French; • Demonstrate good organizational, planning and project management skills, and have the ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously; • Must pay attention to detail and be curious of nature and love learning; • Be a team player who can still work independently; • Being an avid user of social media, with a very good knowledge of new media. Would be an Asset: • Have experience in Web analytics as well as a social media monitoring tool.
