OUR PEOPLE The talent and dedication of our employees drive Trex’s continued growth as the world’s leading provider of wood-alternative decking and railing made with recycled and reclaimed materials. We are committed to giving every team member the tools, support and opportunities they need to succeed. In 2025, we expanded our leadership development offerings, strengthened role-based training and introduced additional self-guided learning resources to help employees grow at every stage of their careers. We also advanced our recognition programs and broadened our employee engagement channels LOGO USAGE
to ensure all team members feel appreciated and connected. Across the organization, we continued to strengthen engagement and remove barriers to success, reinforcing a workplace where everyone can thrive.
Teams and Outlook tools, tactics for managing stress and burnout and approaches to handling difficult conversations. To foster collaborative decision-making skills, enrich the workplace culture and reinforce our organizational values, we offer a VIP Culture training series. VIP Culture modules are tailored to employees in all areas of the organization. In 2025, we engaged the VIP Culture series provider to produce a Spanish-language version of the training to promote access for more team members. Based on the success of this course, we have scheduled additional Spanish- and English-language sessions in 2026. Through a relationship with Blue Ridge Community and Technical College, Trex also makes various leadership development courses available to team members in our manufacturing
development conversations, succession planning and methods of measuring and calibrating team member potential. In addition to career learning, our annual performance reviews are an important part of career development for all our salaried employees. These reviews help identify individual growth opportunities and support continuous learning and career development.
Professional Development
At Trex, we are committed to helping our team members grow, develop new skills and reach their career goals. Our Trex Academy learning management system offers a personalized and engaging way to learn. Through the platform, team members can complete courses, earn badges for milestones and easily track their training progress over time. We are launching additional resources in 2026 to further strengthen goal setting, career
Leadership Skills
Our leadership training catalog focuses on critical skills such as performance assessment, effective communication, strategic planning, talent management, business acumen and building a positive work environment. In 2025, we introduced coursework on effective performance management, instruction on Microsoft
