locations. Topics include coaching team members, delegating responsibilities, time management, delivering feedback and providing recognition. In 2025, we introduced two new courses, Stress and Burnout in the Workplace and Navigating Difficult Conversations.
Our offerings include:
Micro Workshops: We offer these sessions to hone the skills of our manufacturing employees. In 2025, the program delivered 12 micro workshops focused on topics like product quality, equipment operations, occupational safety and continuous improvement. More than 560 team members attended at least one micro workshop in 2025. Trex University: Located near our Virginia manufacturing operations, Trex University educates our employees, retailers, contractors and other third parties about various Trex product lines. Our Marketing team regularly updates the Trex University curriculum to ensure that it reflects our latest offerings. Build Days: Each year, Trex organizes several Build Day events that give employees the chance to assemble a deck using Trex products. Build Days help team members appreciate the benefits of our innovative decking and railing materials—and draw upon that experience in conversations with Trex customers. Also, these events have become a valuable opportunity for employees to bond with their teammates.
In 2025, we continued to enhance our Individual Development Plan (IDP) framework for helping employees identify and achieve their professional goals with strong support from their managers. IDPs provide a structured and personalized roadmap for enhancing an employee’s skills, improving their performance and preparing them for other roles at Trex. The IDP program also helps us align employee goals with broader organizational objectives and retain highly talented team members who will continue to fuel our business growth. Based on feedback from team members that our IDP resources for project management weren’t sufficiently tailored to Trex, we launched new bespoke materials designed and delivered by internal subject matter experts in 2025. As part of the IDP process, selected employees may be paired with leaders from across Trex for mentorship and career guidance. We continued working to add more IDP mentors in 2025. In addition, we aim to weave mentorship opportunities into other programs such as Trex Leadership Academy.
Our employees have free access to the entire LinkedIn Learning® catalog that spans a wide range of professional development topics. In addition to self-selected courses, various teams across Trex also use nearly 170 LinkedIn Learning modules or videos to advance targeted professional development objectives. In 2025, more than 260 Trex employees viewed more than 1,275 hours of LinkedIn Learning content. In 2025, we used LinkedIn Learning to help supplement our updated Trex performance management training. This effort included developing content focused on both our high-level philosophy and practical applications in our workplace. LinkedIn Learning provided best practices for delivering performance reviews that are applicable at all organizations, including AI- supported roleplays for delivery of difficult messages.
Trex Leadership Academy
Launched in 2023, Trex Leadership Academy offers high- potential Trex leaders a chance to develop their competencies in business acumen, team building, strategy, communications and other leadership skills. Through the academy, we aim to build a deeper pool of talented people within Trex who are well prepared to assume senior and executive roles across our company. In 2025, our Leadership Academy cohort included 11 leaders, with expanded participation that ranged from Directors to other high- potential team members. LOGO USAGE
Role-Specific Training
We provide targeted training for employees across Trex functions, from manufacturing to customer support. We continue to align our training opportunities more closely with the specific competencies that our employees need to advance their careers.
