Representative Leadership: Women hold four of 10 Board seats, representing 40% of Trex’s Board of Directors. 1 Advancing Women in Management: Women represent 25% of Trex’s overall workforce and continue to advance across leadership roles supported by structured compensation grading and standardized hiring practices.

Water Recycling Impact: Trex recycled approximately 17 billion gallons of process water across manufacturing operations in 2025. Efficient Water Use: Approximately 99% of process water at our Virginia and Nevada facilities is recycled through our closed-loop recirculation system. Water Compliance: Trex recorded zero water-related environmental violations resulting in fines in 2025.

7.3 By 2030, double the global rate of improvement in energy efficiency

Energy Efficiency Initiatives: In 2025, energy efficiency improvements at our Little Rock facility delivered more than 8,700 MWh in annual energy savings through improvements to pumps, chillers and cooling systems. Renewable Energy Use: Solar-generated electricity at Trex headquarters totaled 92 MWh in 2025. Waste-to-Energy Diversion: Trex diverted 1,579 tons of purge material to a waste-to-energy partner, generating approximately 821 MWh of electricity. Sourcing: In 2025, Trex sourced 961 million pounds of recycled PE film and reclaimed wood for use in our products. Circular Materials Leadership: Trex composite decking products are manufactured using approximately 95% recycled and reclaimed materials. Since our founding, we have upcycled more than 6.4 billion pounds of waste plastic film. Landfill Diversion: Trex diverted 60% of purge waste from landfill in 2025 and continues progress toward its goal of 100% diversion by 2027.

Employee Development: Trex employees completed 52,249 hours of training in 2025, supporting career growth and skill advancement. Compensation Governance: Trex maintains a structured compensation grade system, conducts pay equivalency analyses and includes compensation ranges in job postings to promote transparency and pay equity.

Comprehensive Safety Training: All eligible employees complete required safety training, with sessions offered in both English and Spanish to ensure understanding across our workforce. Safety Performance Improvement: In 2025, Trex reduced its TRIR to 2.16 and its LTIR to 0.69, reflecting continued focus on safe and secure working environments. Leadership Training in EH&S: Additional leadership development was provided for EH&S supervisors and managers to strengthen proactive risk management.
