In the bustling Newport neighborhood of Jersey City, Old Forge has taken on the fit-out of a new Goddard School early educational facility in the ground floor of a high-end apartment building. The scope involved extensive demolition and reconfiguration of the building to accommodate the flow of the childcare while not inconveniencing or interfering with the residential units above. On a busy road, we often had to collaborate with the municipality to redirect traffic. The space will include nurseries, classrooms divided by age group, outdoor play area, a commercial kitchen, nursing room, laundry room, office, and reception vestibule. Estimated Completion July 2024.
