Averitt 2025-2026 Corporate Social Responsibility Report

Supplier Human Rights Management Averitt has a Code of Conduct and also a Human Rights Policy for business operations that apply to employees, contractors, vendors, and our supply chain. The policy covers topics of Forced Labor, Child Labor and Human Trafficking, Work Hours/Compensation/Benefits, Hazardous Conditions and Workplace Health and Safety, No Discrimination, Abuse, or Harassment, Freedom of Association and Collective Bargaining, Use of Security Forces, Land/Forest/Water Rights, Avoidance of Forced Eviction, Environmental Protection, Data Protection and Data Security, Whistleblowing and Protection Against Retaliation, Monitoring, Reporting and Remediation. In early 2026, Averitt added labor, human rights, and purchasing questions to its annual survey of top suppliers and found: 83% of our top suppliers have a Labor and Human Rights Management System in place and require their direct suppliers to adhere to environmental, social, and human rights standards. 60% of our top suppliers have publicly available sustainability purchasing guidelines for direct suppliers that address environmental, social, and human rights standards. In addition to the Averitt Code of Conduct and the Human Rights Policy that Averitt suppliers must adhere to, in 2024 Averitt developed contracting language that includes standards for social, human rights, and environmental performance. Averitt operates under an ongoing Master Service Agreement that is only renewed occasionally with most of its vendors, including the largest vendors. In 2024, an agreement with the supplier that provides more than half of Averitt’s tires was up for renewal and the supplier executed its contract with the new standards for social, human rights, and environmental performance. That agreement was renewed in 2026 with the same social and environmental performance expectations.
