CHALLENGE On 30th April and 1st May, Abbey Infants and Juniors took on the Soccer Star Challenge. All pupils participated by striking the ball into the speed cage to try and register the fastest shot. There was a great buzz around school as cheers of encouragement echoed through the halls. A fantastic day was had by all and the children earned some ‘fab’ prizes. Well done and thank you to all the children and families who worked hard to raise sponsors. In total, we raised an amazing £3561.60. Congratulations to Aathma Sandhu & Lewis Thompson who raised the highest amounts - earning themselves a family tour of Wembley Stadium. On 26th April Abbey competed in the level 3 Swimming Gala at Walsall Gala baths where they represented both our school and the region of Sandwell, in a competition against schools from Dudley, Walsall and Wolverhampton. The standard of swimming was phenomenal and our team swam very well. Their behaviour and sportsmanship were exemplary throughout. Well Done! CHALLENGE
