The Centre of Sporting Excellence is a unique partnership between Preston North End Community and Education Trust (PNECET) and Preston College, offering Level 1 to Level 3 programmes for students aged 16–19. Students benefit from expert teaching, guest speakers from across the sports industry, and opportunities to compete nationally while representing Preston College and Preston North End.
Access excellent sports facilities, including a fitness suite, training rig, squash courts, sports hall and Astroturf pitch.
PLAY
STUDY
Train with UEFA B qualified coaches and compete in the EFL CEFA and ECFA leagues against other professional clubs. The programme also offers pathways into semi- professional football and USA scholarships.
Choose from a range of Level 1 to Level 3 courses, delivered by experienced tutors who provide industry knowledge and support to help you progress in your chosen career.
WORK DISCOVER
Gain valuable industry experience through work placements, allowing you to apply classroom learning in real workplace environments.
