• Mobility or communication support (including BSL) • Study skills support • Transition and orientation support
If you do not have an EHCP but have SEND, we can still develop a support plan with you.
TRANSITION SUPPORT Our SEND Team will support your transition to college. Before you apply, a member of the Transition Team can attend your Year 10 or 11 review to discuss courses and support options. After you apply, we will arrange a SEND interview to discuss your needs and plan any support, including familiarisation visits and taster sessions. For advice, call 01772 225335 or email transition@preston.ac.uk . EXAM ACCESS ARRANGEMENTS (EAA) Exam Access Arrangements are reasonable adjustments that help students access exams fairly. If you think you may need additional support, contact the SEND Team on 01772 225333 . An assessment is required for all students applying for EAA.
