Adam Ankers Senior Project Manager Adam plans, directs, and coordinates all activities concerned with the overall execution of a construction project. He participates in the conceptual development of a construction project with the Preconstruction department and oversees the organization, scheduling, shop drawings, and closeout processes during construction in order to achieve the common goals of the project team. He ensures that the project will be completed within the established time-line by making regular inspection of the construction site and monitoring the progress of the construction activities, provides technical direction and leadership to on-site personnel for the purpose of ensuring budgetary, quality and safety standards. Adam is the primary representative for EMJ who will interface with the owner, the owner’s representative and the architects/ engineers and attending all project meetings during the construction phase. Relevant Experience City of Chattanooga - Volkswagen - Chattanooga, TN: $60 million, 275,000 sq.ft. EMJ is acting as Construction Manager for the BSUV plant expansion, providing financial tracking, safety and plant coordination. The project consists of 100,000 sq.ft. body shop expansion along with the addition of loading dock reconfiguration. In addition, a technical center expansion for finished cars. This space is 25,000 sq.ft. but is located at the existing car exit of the plant. The final part of this expansion is a 150,000 sq.ft. assembly warehouse. Virtua Healthcare Ambulatory Care Center – Voorhees, NJ: $65 million, 300,000 sq.ft. Manage Mechanical, Electrical and Piping contractors involved with the construction of the Virtua Voorhees Ambulatory Core and Shell. Virtua Healthcare Network Ambulatory Care Center – Washington Township, NJ: $60 million, 200,00 sq.ft. Work with MEP and Finish Trade Contractors to complete construction of new MOB. Albert Einstein Healthcare Network New Regional Medical Center - East Norriton, PA: $200 million, 360,000 sq.ft. Oversee 3D/BIM Coordination process, change management, and equipment submittal review for new hospital with five custom air handlers and a central utility plant. Hershey Medical Center Cancer Institute - Hershey, PA: $150 million, 182,000 sq.ft. Oversight of project completion and State inspection of all Mechanical, Electrical, Piping, and Controls contractors for a new cancer research and treatment center. National Institutes of Health - Bethesda, MD: $200 million, 300,000 sq.ft. Managed all MEP contractors during the phased renovation of a 14 story patient area to research lab connected to the main hospital on NIH’s main campus.
