Reading Area Firefighters Museum Tours
When: Saturdays, from 10 a.m.to 1 p.m. Where: Reading Area Firefighters Museum, Reading Admission: $5 for those ages 16-plus Take a Saturday trip east of Dauphin to tour the Reading Area Firefighter Museum to get the inside scoop on this landmark. Built in 1876, the Reading Area Firefighter Museum serves as a testament to the history of firefighting in Berks and Reading counties. For the price of museum admission on Saturdays this fall, attendees will be treated to stories, historical information, and fun facts during regular tours. Cake Tasting When: Oct. 20 at 11:30 a.m. Where: Sweet Confections Cakes, Harrisburg Admission: $10 Halloween isn’t the only opportunity for you to indulge in treats this October. Sweet Cake Confections’ monthly cake taste-testing event will provide a minimum of six flavors, cake fillings, mousse, and icings for attendees to try.
