• Ensure full compliance with statutory and internal policy obligations, for example, procurement, financial regulations, planning and health and safety

• Ensure appointments and legal contracts are in place

• To develop a Travel Plan for the College including promoting green travel, compiling surveys and working with external organisations.

• Lead the submission process to ensure any bids, applications and returns for funding the Estates Strategy are coordinated and made accurately and on time.

• Lead the post project review and assessment process to determine the performance of projects against the original business case to support the need for change or improvements.

• Deputising, where appropriate, for Senior Leaders.

Management & Leadership: (if applicable)

• Ensure the campus redevelopment team and our external advisors deliver the highest quality service for all internal/external stakeholders.

• Leadership of the estates/facilities management team and the campus redevelopment team.

• Develop and lead efficient, customer-focused team to ensure users receive good service that meets their needs.

• Staff management – recruit, develop and sustain highly skilled, flexible, qualified and experienced team to support business requirements. Manage performance and support professional development.

• Quality Assurance – ensure provision of excellent services and resources which meet identified needs.

• Change management – identify and respond to improvements within Service, College or Group; implement change through consultation and planning.

Financial Responsibilities: (if applicable)

• Lead, with the Finance Team and professional advisors, the overall campus redevelopment budget of c. £170 million.
