The City of Placentia has updated the start time for its regular City Council meetings. As of April 7, 2026, meetings now begin at 6:00 p.m., instead of the previous 7:00 p.m. start time. This change was approved by the City Council to improve meeting efficiency, better align with regional practices, and help reduce extended evening hours for City staff. Residents planning to attend City Council meetings in person or watch live online are encouraged to take note of the updated start time. Meetings are held in the City Council Chambers and are also broadcast live at www.placentia.org/pctv. Agendas and additional meeting information remain available on the City’s website at www.placentia.org. CITY COUNCIL MEETING START TIME CHANGED TO 6:00 P.M.
