Stakeholder Engagement • Build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and with professional services colleagues across the University, as well as with external stakeholders, such as NHS Trusts and our appointed consultants. • Act as a single point of contact for space requests relating to the Faculties, Departments and Directorates as agreed with the Associate Director of Workplace Management. • Have a comprehensive understanding of KCL Strategic plans, Faculty business plans and external stakeholders such as the Trusts to ensure that all spatial strategies and plans are aligned to these needs. Strategy and Planning • Collaborate with all levels of the business to ensure a connection between business requirements/strategy and overall real estate strategy. • Develop outline project/programme spatial briefs for projects • Develop spatial modelling scenarios and space strategies for the University • Support the collection of FTE/HC and location data from Faculty, HR, Finance and similar systems and work with the Estates Information Team to ensure this data is integrated into team information systems. Communication • Responsible for scheduling and producing reports for meetings such as the Health/A&S Space Management Group, Real Estate Operations Board etc in addition to local campus space planning committees. • Maintain an up-to-date record of space allocation requests to ensure that project and task lists are current. • Develop and utilise space modelling tools and techniques to allow for a robust understanding of Faculty requirements, such as School relocation modelling, and simulation modelling. • Liaise with the external consultant tasked with producing and maintaining an interactive 3D model of the estate. • Analyse data and produce reports for Department/Faculty/Building/Campuses as required. • Work closely with the Estates Information Team to ensure that Planon, SharePoint and other electronic systems are updated with space type, allocation and occupancy information.
