Rockland were Matthew Clifford, Garrett Reed, and Nickolas Spirito. Clifford assisted on one goal and other goal assists came from Paul Armstrong, Andrew Denne, Nathan Lowry, Vincent Martel, and Patrick Sevigny. Nicolas Rousseau guarded the Rockland net throughout the game. Alexis Gauthier, with the help of Marc- Olivier Lafrenière, scored the lone second- period goal for Gatineau Hull. Ian Girard warded the Volant net. The next game in the series was scheduled for Tuesday, March 1, at the Robert Guertin Arena in Gatineau. The action returns to the Clarence Creek Arena on Wednesday night, March 2, at 7:30 p.m. The Volant need just one win to push the Nats aside while Rockland has to win one game to keep the series alive until Wednesday.

The Nats are in the game for their semi-final series challenge against the Volant from Gatineau Hull. Game five of the semi-finals series on Sunday afternoon at the Clarence Creek Arena saw the Nats dump the Volant 3-1 after both teams battled during a scoreless first period of play. This now leaves the best-of-seven series at 3-2 with GatineauHull-Volant having the slight lead. It guarantees two more games in the series to determine which team will move on to the quarter-finals in the National Capital Junior Hockey League playoffs.
