Building the Foundation Before the Expansion
Quality is approaching its five-year anniversary this June, a milestone that carries real weight for its leadership team. “Five years ago, the goal was simple,” Gonzaga recalls. “Proof of concept. Could we stay alive? Could we prove the product, the service, the model?” Millwork Solutions

“As COO, I lived in the operation,” Gonzaga says. “If something broke, we fixed it. If something slowed us down, we adjusted.” Manzur frames that period from a strategic perspective. “Survival was step one,” he says. “But sustainability was always the real objective. Without systems and discipline, growth eventually works against you.”
That realization reshaped the business.

Today, Quality Millwork Solutions operates with a fully built-out operational structure. Warehouse roles are clearly defined. The fleet has expanded. Purchasing and accounting functions are firmly in place. Sales representatives are on the road every day. What took nearly five years to assemble now operates as a coordinated whole. “We finally put all the pieces together,” says Manzur. “That was a turning point. Everyone understands their role, and everyone’s moving in the same direction.”
They did more than survive. They built a foundation. In the early days, the company operated lean and manual, with leadership deeply involved in day-to-day operations. Decisions were made quickly, often on the fly—but always tied to execution and accountability. 110
