“THE FUTURE OF CONSTRUCTION, BELONGS TO PEOPLE WHO FIND NEW SOLUTIONS—NOT THOSE WHO KEEP DOING THE SAME THING.”
—Tony Levesque | Vice President of Sales
“The story behind OSBLOCK is really about changing the construction industry worldwide.” Origins Rooted in Performance, Not Theory
“He worked a lot in the great north of Quebec,” Levesque says. “And he saw all the issues of building with stick framing, especially when it comes to insulation.” After selling a log home company in 2012, Tremblay began developing a wall system that could address the recurring challenges he encountered in traditional construction: thermal bridging, inconsistent insulation performance, and labor- intensive installation methods. Rather than introducing the concept as a prototype or design exercise, Tremblay built his own home using the first iteration of the system in 2017. “He built his own house out of it to see if it could really work,” Levesque says. “That’s how OSBLOCK started, by testing it in real life.” That approach set the tone for the company’s evolution. Since then, OSBLOCK has grown into a manufacturing-driven building system designed to deliver consistent performance, simplified installation, and measurable energy efficiency at scale.

MARCO TREMBLAY | INVENTOR & CEO
OSBLOCK ’s origins are firmly grounded in real-world performance.
The system was developed in Canada, where extreme climates quickly expose the weaknesses of conventional construction methods. Its inventor and CEO, Marco Tremblay, spent years building in northern Quebec—an environment where inefficiency is not theoretical, but costly. 82
