It was my first time to fly and to sleep in a hotel and this was my personal most memorable moment for Gala 2019. I loved the moment when our Founder, Alma Ger- icke, launched the make-up range and everyone started screaming with happiness. I am very proud of my job as being a 2nd checker at the INUKA Cape Town Front Office. I enjoy being at work each day. I like to help people and work with people. I was so touched when the Top 5 Business Leaders were being called on stage that it almost brought me to tears because of the emotion and joy at the same time. The love, unity and support the Top 5 Leaders showed and gave each other as they were being welcomed on stage is admirable. I was touched by our Members thanking our Founder, Alma Gericke, and expressing their appreciation to the office and the individual staff members for how much they have contributed to their success. I am driven by such appreciation to do more. Life is about service to mankind and INUKA is a perfect place for that. I am LIVING MY BEST LIFE which is about service. Listening and seeing the positive transformation this business is impacting on Members is heart-warming and enough reason for me to serve them more and go extra miles for them.

Even today I still dream about Gala 2019. The celebrations that were shared in the venue and the energy was a thrilling sensation. Seeing our Members overcoming the challenges that they face every day and changing their lives through the INUKA Business Opportunity is just magnificent and motivating at the same time. I jump out of bed every morning with excitement in my heart to believe that a person can change his or her life cir- cumstances through selling our INUKA Products. Every evening when I get home I sit back and reflect on the encouraging words I had shared with Members and practice this on myself. My job is my passion. This was my very first eagerly awaited INUKA Gala Event attendance. Having this experience with more than 12 nations in one room was just mind-blowing. One of my most memorable moments at INUKA was during our SQ2 Event in January 2019 in Pretoria when our Founder introduced the staff members that were part of the event. The Members I work with daily cheered and shouted my name. I was much surprised, and I felt special for the love they showed to me. I fall in love every time with my job when we get confirmation that Members have achieved their goals and we celebrate the achievements of our Members in Helpdesk. TOP 25 BUSINESS LEADER RESULTS 2019 The INUKA Annual Recognition Program is aimed to inspire our Members to build a consistent, reliable and growing business by focusing on 4 important pillars towards success, which are Personal Sales, Group Sales, Recruiting and Promoting. These pillars are also known as our 4 Rainbow Categories. Our Top 25 Business Leaders and Ambassador of the Year are the Members who have performed the best in our 4 Rainbow Categories. A Member’s performance is calculated as a percentage value for each of the 4 categories. To ensure focus on all 4 success pillars each category has the same weight and a maximum score of 100% per category is calculated. The final percentage score will determine the Member’s ranking. In the event of a tie the Member with the highest Personal Sales will earn the position.
2019 Criteria: Members could also earn an extra R10,000 Bonus for every Rainbow Category achieved twice or more. (E.g. 2 400 PPV = R20 0000 | 40 Seniors = R20 000) | 120 000 GPV = R30 000)

This meant 5 consecutive years of holding the INUKA Ambassador title since 2015. Besides all of my cash reward earnings on 6 July 2019 (R 677,500.00), I was also blown away on being presented with a surprize 4 Nights Holiday at a 5 Star All-Inclusive Zanzibar Resort for 2 people and a Luxury White Cellini Suitcase Set. Having been the Top New Business Leader in my 1st year, 2018, gave me confidence to grow even further. This year my goal was to at least be a Top 10 Business Leader, even if it was the 10th position. I am still finding it hard to grasp that my goal secured me a position in the Top 5 Business Leader category and overall in the 3rd position. In business we need to learn in order to grow. In IsiXhosa we say “yiba nekhwele sukuba nomona”, which means to be Zealous not Jealous. Be eager and enthusiastic in all you do. Do business and not competition. This has always been my motto and I use this in my life and business daily. Set goals for yourself and aim never to fail your mission. Work smart and be in love with your INUKA Business. I have been to Hong Kong. I also earned the Mauritius Travel Incentive. I will definitely be going to Istanbul, Turkey, because I won’t fail myself in my dreams and goals.
Looking back at the 2 years of being an INUKA Member, I realize that I have grown in leaps and bounds. I am proud of my journey and especially proud of my team, Gejeza. I joined INUKA to give my children a better life. However, my main objective was to be able to travel the world. I kept focus on the Hong Kong Travel Incentive that INUKA had at that time and 6 months after joining INUKA, I achieved this Travel Challenge. I realized at the time that to achieve the Hong Kong Incentive, I had to work full out and not 20km per hour as a slow pace was not going to take me to Hong Kong. I also knew that Network Marketing may be SIMPLE, but it is not EASY. I sat and looked at my capabilities and made an important decision to focus on getting my team members trained and knowledgeable to climb the ladder of success. I had to invest time in building a relationship with them, for I knew I couldn’t do it alone. My Team Gejeza is my blessing and pride. I taught my team that we may be friends and relatives but in business I am firstly their Mentor and any other relationship is secondary. They had learned to value and understand this.

I joined INUKA in December 2016, but I only became serious about my business in 2018 after attending a Sales Quarter Event in South Africa. This Event motivated me to take my INUKA Business to the next level. I have since realized that every business requires your investment, determination, time, focus and faith.
I stopped doing all my other part time businesses and decided to only focus on INUKA because I saw all the various income opportunities in the Compensation Plan and realized that this could become a very profitable business. I started to study everything I could find about Network Marketing and made sure I understand everything in the INUKA Business Guide. This has helped me to grow personally as well as my business. The most important lessons that I have learnt is that it is crucial to lead by example. One cannot motivate and inspire anyone in your Downline to do something if you are not doing it yourself. Be the first one to invest money and time in your business and your success will speak for itself and your Downline will want to follow in your footsteps. It is important for you to make sure that you earn a great income in INUKA and achieve all the challenges. These earnings will change the quality of your lifestyle. Once people can witness how your lifestyle has changed, they will believe in the INUKA Business and will want to be in your team for you to lead them to be able to live the same lifestyle. Make them HUNGRY for a better tomorrow and be the example with your own life. Follow up with everyone in your group regularly whether they are active or inactive. I joined the INUKA Business in October 2017. After attending Gala 2018 I was so motivated, and I knew I wanted to be recognised as a Top 25 Business Leader at the next Gala Event. Even though it is something I worked on for the past 12 months, I still didn’t think it was possible. I was overcome with surprize and emotions when my name was announced, and I was called to the INUKA stage. It wasn’t an easy journey, but I kept the positive energy of my goals in my mind. I struggled from Sales Quarter 2 onwards with almost all 4 Rainbow Pillars. I kept saying to myself that I will not give up no matter what. I have learnt that with anything you do is to set yourself a higher target and it will push you to your full potential. We all have potential to achieve whatever goal we set ourselves. In my journey to achieve the Top 10 Business Leader Category, I aim to be in the Top 5 so that if I don’t make it, I will at least be in the Top 10. On this journey in network marketing I have learnt to always work with my team and to motivate and remind them about their reasons for joining the business. Challenge them to set themselves monthly goals. Don’t get tired when they are asking questions, more especially the new members. Teach your team how to earn all the benefits and this will motivate them to grow to the next higher levels.
Teamwork is of utmost importance. Leaders, we need to lead by example and show our teams the importance of teamwork.
Be a leader, not the boss. Work more than 4 levels deep as this will benefit your 4th, 3rd, 2nd and 1st levels.
Martin Luther King Jr said: “A genuine leader is not a searcher for consensus, but a moulder of consensus”. This means that a leader must choose the destination, convinces others of the merits of taking the trip, shows them how they can get there, and then leads them on the journey. As a leader it is your job to have a vision and share it with those with whom you lead. A special thanks to Team Tholi, the Great Achievers and all the Sub Teams. You guys are awesome. I would not have made it without you. Thank you to all the phenomenal ladies and their calls and WhatsApp’s to encourage me and checking up on me even though I am not in their 1st Downline: Zukhanye Zonke, Phumeza Mrwetyana, Nokuphiwa Nkunzi, Nodumo Maqethuka and Busisiwa Jali. I wanted to give up on my Personal PV’s and Zukhanye said to me that this is one leg that I have control over and can never give up on.
