ACTION PLAN IF EVACUATION IS ORDERED: A. Only senior hotel management, police, or fire department officials can order evacuation of the hotel or sections of the hotel. B. If an evacuation decision is made, follow EVACUATION / LOCKDOWN / CLOSURE procedures in this manual. C. If evacuation is ordered by police or fire department officials, instructions of the official in charge should be followed explicitly. MEDIA Contact with the media concerning the Company’s position on any matter should be made only by the Company’s authorized spokespersons. Managers and Associates who are not authorized spokespersons but who receive inquiries from the media shall refer such inquiries to the GM who will immediately notify their Vice President of Operations aware of such inquiry. The President is the only person who can designate other Associates as authorized spokespersons of the Company.
