We have inspected the site of the alarm and no emergency exists. I repeat, no emergency exists. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience. We appreciate your cooperation. Thank you!” FIRE DRILL “Ladies and Gentlemen, the Hotel is conducting a fire drill training. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience. We appreciate your cooperation. Thank you!” • Upon being released from an assigned station by the MOD, all Associates are to report to the designated Assembly Point. • If evacuation is ordered, the Front Desk will use the rooming list to call each room to ensure all guests have left their room(s). SECOND AND THIRD SHIFT ASSOCIATES WILL FOLLOW THE SAME PROCEDURES. Department Manager/Supervisor on duty: • Ensure all Associates are safe, and you have accounted for each Associate on duty. • Notify the MOD when all Associates are located/identified:
“ Front Office to MOD.” When MOD responds, announce: “ Front Office All Clear!”
Once you have left the building, do not re-enter until given an all clear. Assist with guests as needed. THE FRONT OFFICE AND ADMINISTRATIVE DEPARTMENTS WILL BE CROSS-TRAINED ON FIRE SAFETY PROCEDURES AND WILL ALSO HANDLE OR ASSIST WITH THE OTHER DEPARTMENT’S RESPONSIBILITIES IF SHORT-STAFFED.
