Richard Harnett

Executive Principal’s Prize for Service Richard has provided sterling service to the school, particularly in his boarding life, where he has sought to unite boys in common goals, as well as to build relationships across the Houses. He is the epitome of the servant leader, in putting the needs of others before his own. His emotional intelligence and empathy shine through in his daily interactions with staff and boys. Richard has played a key role in representing the student voice on the Boarding Committee. He was also a great contributor to the adaptations that the boarding community had to make for Covid-19 earlier in 2022. Richard led the boys to contribute significant sums in support of two charity fundraising campaigns this year. He has also been involved in Eco-Action tree planting and has provided service to College at significant College events, and as a member of the Student Wellbeing Committee. This young man has upheld our school virtues and been an exceptional role model, going above and beyond what is expected of a school Prefect or Head of House.
