Condell’s lost in the semi-finals against Flower's House. Thank you to Jordan Yee for coordinating the team. Debating Condell’s House moved through to the third round of senior debating thanks to the efforts of Bruce Chen, Sean Jang, Oscar Compton-Moen and Noah Yee. Junior House Debating Nick Sharr, Bill Cross, Angus Vincent and Jack Hastie formed a formidable alliance and had a convincing win against Corfe House in the first round, going from strength to strength in the competition. Ultimately, our Junior House Debate Team won by default in the final. The House debaters are already looking forward to honing
Flynn Topham and Austin Smith won the first game against Harper. After a close first half, Condell’s dominated in the second half, leading to a convincing win. In the second round, we struck a bit of adversity, with Tom Harrison injured and Austin Smith sick. However, the boys came out firing with an early lead, before the game was tied, 7–7, with not too long to go in the first half. Flower’s House extended the lead going into half- time, eventually winning 25–10. Music Condell's House students had success at Rockquest again. With Year 10 band Bar Fights, including Condell’s student Albie Anderson, and Year 11 band Rain on Jupiter, including Condell’s students Max Topham, Archie Whithear, Tom Rawstron and Nick Sharr, we look forward to hearing about their future success and possible contributions to House Music.
