Fall is officially here, and our Racquets & Sports areas are buzzing!
Our Wilmington Cup teams are competing hard, and winning plenty! Winter USTA teams are forming, block booking requests are coming in, and our junior racquets programming is now running seven days a week. Twenty-one energetic juniors joined us for our September Mini-Camp, and with USTA tournaments underway and Junior Team Tennis beginning in October, there is no slowing down. Don’t forget our Junior Halloween Party on October 16!

Congratulations to Jason Clare and EJ Dealy, our 2026 Pickleball Club Champions, with Boo White and Scott Porter finishing as runners-up.
We’re also very excited to welcome Austin Hensley, our new Head Paddle & Pickleball Professional, to WCC. Austin joins us just in time for paddle season, with Opening Night on October 19 and plenty of clinics, practices, and social play ahead. Squash programming is off to a strong start, with our juniors already competing in sanctioned events. In Fitness, Walking Club continues through November, while the four-week Fall Fitness Challenge is keeping members moving.
The pool has officially closed after a beautiful final weekend of sunshine, and congratulations to our new Bocce Club Champions, Joe Iorii III and Debi Diver!
There is lots to play, watch, and enjoy around WCC this fall. We hope to see you out there! -Liezel Huber
