BOURGET Le Partage de Bourge t on Laval Street has a half-price sale on winter garments and also seasonal sportswear until March 17. CLARENCE-ROCKLAND Clarence-Rockland Public Library hosts Children’s Story Time for ages 2 to 5, 10 a.m., every other Tuesday at the Bourget branch and every Wednesday at the Rockland branch. J’ai rencontré Michel Hudon pour la première fois il y a deux ans, lorsque mon fils loua de ce dernier une cabane à pêche (plutôt pour sortir papa et maman de la maison, je crois). Michel venait tout juste de lancer son entreprise, Clarence Point Resort. Il voyait à l’installation des cabanes et leur retrait en fin de saison, l’entretien des chemins, la vente des ménés, la sécurité des clients et de leurs biens etc. Dès le départ, et au fil de la première saison, Michel démontra qu’il était sérieux dans son affaire, qu’il s’engageait à tout faire pour qu’on puisse passer de beaux moments dans son petit village. Évidemment, la tâche n’était pas facile, demandant beaucoup d’ouvrage et de patience. Il se montra pourtant toujours disponible et de bonne humeur. Rappelons-nous qu’il ne s’agit guère de faire fortune dans une si petite entreprise. On s’y engage la plupart du temps pour partager une passion personnelle, par exemple la pêche, l’aventure en plein air ou pour s’impliquer tout simplement avec le public. La mort inattendue et tragique de Michel, bon travaillant, toujours souriant, m’a beaucoup bouleversé. Ce qu’il a mis en marche à Clarence Point mérite une suite réussie et notre soutien. En terminant, je me joins sûrement à tous les habitués de pêche sur glace ainsi que de nombreux autres qui ont connu ce bel homme pour offrir mes sincères sympathies à sa famille et ses proches Clifford Colbourne (retraité qui aime la pêche) Rockland
