THE JEWS ARE OUR CONCERN

P r a y e r What various hindrances'we meet In coming to a mercy seat! Yet who that knows the worth of prayer But wishes to be often there. Restraining prayer, we cease to fight: Prayer makes the Christian’s ■ armour bright; And Satan trembles when He sees The weakest saint upon his knees. Have you no words? Ah, think again. Words flow apace when you complain And fill your fellow creature’s ear W ith the sad tales of all your care! W ere half the breath thus vainly spent, To heaven in supplication sent, y our cheerful song would oftener be, “Hear what the Lord hath done for M e.” —William Cowper, 1779

►REV. ANDREW M. PASCHALL, of the Latin American Mission, has been appointed manager of the Del Norte Christian Supply Center, the first com mercially located Christian bookstore in the El Paso-Juarez area. Approximately one half million people can be reached in these two areas. ►DR. MYRON F. BOYD, director of the “ Light and Life Hour,” has announced that the broadcast of the Free Methodist Church is now being beamed into Russia where there are said to be some 47 million radios. The songs and sermons will be given in Russian.

W hen Jesus said, “ Inasmuch as ye did it not unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye did it not unto me,” He was affirming God’s covenant with Abraham and his seed, the Jewish nation — “ I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee." Here is both group and individual accountability for our attitude toward the Jew. God has not forgotten His covenant people, and the Lord Jesus Christ warns us against neglecting them in their deep need. Our Mission can be your channel of love and mercy to thousands of Jews in spiritual and material need in this and other lands. We invite you to share with us in this cause so close to our Lord’s heart.
