historical facts and the contents of the discourse of political and trade union actors in Tunisia. It maintains that social and political actors, including those with dual positions and roles such as the UGTT, are responsible for resolving the democratic transition in favour of the nation and putting an end to the conflict that has existed for more than a decade between the revolution forces demanding real change and the prevention of the return to tyranny, and the counter-revolutionary forces that reject change, question the revolution and vilify democratic practice.
