Through meaningful action and strong partnerships, Jwaneng Mine continues to make a positive difference in the lives of communities within its area of influence. By responding to identified needs and working collaboratively with stakeholders, the Mine is strengthening social support systems and improving living conditions for vulnerable families and children in Tsonyane and Sese villages. Support for Families in Tsonyane Village Recently, Jwaneng Mine Mining Department, in partnership with IronBase, Millennium and DustRaiders, donated 71 food hampers to families in Tsonyane Village. Enhancing Child Welfare at LaModimo Charity Centre Jwaneng Mine Audit Services donated 22 bunk beds with mattresses and pillows to LaModimo Charity Centre in Sese Village, significantly improving living conditions for 34 children at the facility. The Centre supports underprivileged children by providing accommodation, life skills training and academic support. The donation, inspired by the value Show We Care, was made possible through collaboration among Audit teams from Jwaneng, OLDM and DCC. Community leaders expressed gratitude, noting that the contribution will have a lasting and meaningful impact on the children’s wellbeing and development.
