GOITSEONE GADIFELE ENGAGES EMPLOYEES AND BUSINESS PARTNERS ON 2026 STRATEGY
Jwaneng Mine continues to strengthen its foundation for sustainable growth through proactive engagement led by General Manager Mr Goitseone Gadifele. Recognizing that clear communication and collaboration are essential for success, Mr Gadifele has taken deliberate steps to share the Mine’s 2026 strategic direction with both employees and business partners. These engagements foster alignment, unity, and shared commitment, ensuring that everyone understands key priorities and contributes to operational excellence, safety, governance, and community development. Engaging Employees on the 2026 Strategy Recently, Mr Goitseone Gadifele engaged employees on the Mine’s 2026 strategy, introducing new leadership appointments and outlining the key focus areas that will guide the business in the coming year. The strategy emphasizes sustainability, cost effectiveness, governance, operational excellence, and people and cultural transformation. Key initiatives include pursuing triple zero injuries, implementing medical assessments for employees transitioning to underground operations, enhancing stakeholder relations and community projects, and maintaining employee housing. Employees were invited to share their views and provide suggestions to enhance value delivery, reinforcing a culture of inclusivity and shared responsibility in achieving strategic objectives. Engaging Business Partners on Strategic Priorities Recently, Mr Goitseone Gadifele hosted the first engagement with business partners at Albert Milton Hall, sharing the Mine’s new business strategy and highlighting key focus areas following the organisational structure review. Partners were encouraged to collaborate closely with the Mine to identify opportunities that support operational goals and address current economic challenges. Safety performance, unity, and long-term collaboration were emphasized. Business partners actively contributed, offering insights and expressing appreciation for the open engagement, underscoring the importance of partnership in advancing Debswana’s mandate.
