Celebrate an Evening of Sharing
Krysta Simard conducts the St-Pascal-Baylon Children’s Choir for an appreciative audience attending the Evening of Sharing concert at the Optimiste Performance Hall. The annual Rockland fundraiser event for local food banks amassed about $1000 in cash, including large cheque donations from Mayor Guy Desjardins and the ExtravaDanse Academy. Spectators also donated at the door 300 non-perishable food items for distribution between the Rockland and Bourget food banks prior to the Christmas holiday break. —photo supplied
