Strategic Plan Support Construction - September to October • Build multi-year models for funding and staffing based on the key priorities of the plan. • Create a clear and consistent strategic plan including financial needs and measurable goals and develop a corresponding operational plan for executing the strategies. • Create an external version of the plan for use with funders and key external audiences. • Develop funding models, staffing, financial needs, goals, operational plan, • External Strategic Articulation Map • Present to staff, board and key constituencies. Strategic Planning Retreat - July • Facilitate in-person strategy sessions with the senior leadership team, executive director, and strategic plan oversight committee to develop the plan • Develop facilitation plan for retreat • Prepare for retreat - logistics • Deliver Strategic Planning Retreat Strategic Articulation Map (Deliverable) - August • Develop draft strategic articulations • Manage review and revisions process Environmental Scan - May • Review redefinED atlanta materials and data to understand the mission, accomplishments, and goals of the organization. • Review the race and equity work undertaken by the Board and organization in 2019 for deep understanding of how this work undergirds and informs all strategic areas and operations. • Develop and present briefing packet (redefinED atlanta, race and equity work) • Review and discuss environment scan contents Stakeholder Engagement - June • Spend significant time with staff and board members, understanding their views and vision of the critical next steps. In particular, the consultant will gather the best thinking from the Executive Director, the Board Chair, and the strategic planning oversight committee. • Develop and implement a process to gather information and ideas from key constituencies in the Atlanta community including local funders, grant recipients, leading advocacy organizations, school leaders, and civic leaders • Develop stakeholder engagement approach • Design stakeholder tools (interview guide, focus group facilitation, survey) • Conduct interviews and focus groups • Focus Groups - Staff, Board, Strategic Planning Oversight • Interviews - Executive Director, Board Chair, • Key Constituencies - Survey, Video Tribute for Idea Capture

2.3 OUR FEES

It is estimated that this engagement will elapse 6 months. We have estimated that each phase of the engagement will require $32k with a total estimated fees of $96k.
