PROFESSIONAL PROFILE As a Principal Consultant at Education First, Rashidah works with leaders in states, districts, foundations and nonprofit organizations to create and implement organizational strategies and talent management solutions focused on meeting the unique needs of

students. Her projects include supporting the implementation of a comprehensive strategy for building a strong teacher pipeline with a focus on teacher preparation, residencies, teacher leadership, turnaround schools and diversity for Chicago Public Schools; implementing Opportunity Culture—a teacher leader model by Public Impact—for the Texas Education Agency and Chicago Public Schools; and developing an expansion strategy roadmap for the NYU Steinhardt Teacher Residency program. Additionally, she has led efforts at Education First to operationalize its focus on inclusion, diversity and equity. Prior to Education First, Rashidah served as the Executive Director of Talent Management for Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools, where she led talent management and principal pipeline initiatives. Rashidah also spent a decade in the private sector and worked for American Express, Microsoft Corporation and Wachovia/Wells Fargo Bank. Rashidah earned her B.A. in Psychology at Spelman College and her M.B.A. in Marketing/Strategy at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and has completed the Broad Residency in Urban Education.
