Condo listings in Surrey decreased to 722 in August, 9% below July but 9% higher than in August 2018. Year-over-year condo sales were down 15% in August (to 152) and were 14% lower month-over-month. The sales-to-listings ratio decreased to 21%, as Surrey’s condo market remained in seller’s market territory. August’s condo benchmark price of $426,400 was unchanged vs July but 8% lower than in August 2018. The average sold price was $405,241 at an average PSF sales price of $491 (up 3% and 4%, respectively, from July).
