EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS 3 ADVANCEMENTS NEW

Chris & Tammara Williams NORTH CAROLINA A Real Business for Real People

they know, like, and trust? They’ve got our backs and we have theirs.” The Williams also had no idea that they would receive such support from their leadership team. “I am so amazed by how genuine they are,” Chris says. “We get messages from people like Senior Vice President of Sales Darrin Johnson. We saw Darrin at Convention, Road to Executive Director, and ADVANCE, and he’s the same person every time. The management team is full of real people who are human just like you are, and they really are there for you. You can trust them. “A lot of folks you’ll meet tend to be a little gun-shy of home-based businesses. I mean, Melaleuca sounds almost too good to be true. But it is real. The products are real. The Compensation Plan is real. The management team is real. People are really winning in their health and their businesses.” Chris and Tammara’s belief had two growth spurts: once when they tried the products and then again when they got their first check. Chris was born with chronic asthma and has been hospitalized for it multiple times, even as an adult. He decided to throw out his cleaning products and try EcoSense ® cleaning products. He immediately felt the difference. “Not only did they work, I could actually breathe,” Chris says. “I didn’t have to open the windows or run out of the room. “And then when I got my first check, paid on time, I knew the business opportunity was real too. It was the icing on the cake. The products helped immediately, and we saw from our first check that we could make real money.”

When Chris and Tammara began building their business, there was one thing they were not prepared for—how fun it would be. “I figured it would be some fun and a lot of hard work,” Tammara says. “I had no idea it would bring us so much pleasure.” Of course it’s a lot of fun for the Williams to get their paycheck, but for them it’s even more fun to help others succeed. “It’s so rewarding to see a single mom pay for the entire month’s rent with her Melaleuca check,” Tammara says. “Or when we saw a woman on our team walk across the stage at Convention to receive her Financial Freedom award, we felt so happy.” The Williams are fueled by this happiness and set goals to help others advance. “When our team members advance, it’s like Christmas for us,” Tammara says. “Some of our team members’ whys are so personal. And we just love rolling up our sleeves to help them succeed.” The relationships Chris and Tammara have built through their Melaleuca business are also a source of real joy for them. “The relationships are the one thing you just can’t put a price on,” Chris says. “We’ve met so many incredible friends through Melaleuca—authentic, good-hearted individuals who care about you as a person. Who doesn’t want to build a business with those

“Melaleuca is a personal business,” Tammara says. “It’s not something you can do from a distance. We’re not a Sam’s Club or Target. We’re Melaleuca. We get to know people. And when you do that, you can’t help but focus on helping them.”
