The Champlain Library in Vankleek Hill is thrilled with the response to some of their events lately.The Why do you love your libra- ry? campaign has brought in a lot of attention and some good comments. “There aremany free trips to other places,” is one of the comments that have been jotted down onto a heart-shaped paper and will be entered into a draw to take place February 14. The winner of the draw will receive a basket filled with goodies, such as a teddy bear and some candy. “It’s amagical place and you can get any book here.” “You’ll never have as much fun any place else,” joked head librarian Lynda Poyser. “This is the place to be.” It seems the kids in the area feel the same way.
