Hometown St.Thomas October 2026

Earl Taylor My name is Earl Taylor and I have been a City Councillor since March 2025. I am married to Nancy, and we have 2 chil- dren, Rob and Lisa and 2 Grand- children, Owen and Brady. I get involved in my community! I am the Past Chair of the St Thomas Downtown Development Board 2014 - 2024, Past President of the London and St Thomas Association of Realtors 2019,

Kay Vaughan Why I’m Running for St. Thomas City Council – My name is Kay Vaughan, and I’m run- ning for St. Thomas City Council be- cause I believe our city needs a strong voice for families, residents, and the future of our community.

I have called St. Thomas home for 20 years. I’m a mother, a community-minded person, and someone who has spent much of my working life helping others. Through my work in healthcare, community outreach, local organizations and business ownership I’ve learned the importance of listening, advocating, and finding practical solutions. I’m running to bring a younger perspective to Council while working respectfully with those who already serve. I want to listen to residents and help rebuild the connection between City Hall and the people it serves. My goals include improving communication about city projects, new businesses, events, and opportunities; supporting local bus- inesses and families; encouraging community gardens, back yard chickens and initiatives that help families become more self-sustainable; and bringing forward new ideas that make St. Thomas a more welcoming and vibrant place to live. I don’t promise to have every answer. I promise to listen, ask questions, work hard, and stand up for our community. Together, we can build a stronger, more connected St. Thomas.

Past board member of the St Thomas and District Chamber of Commerce, a member of The Optimist Club of St Thomas and I am the City Representative on the Southwestern Public Health and St Thomas Public Library Board of Directors. My goal is to represent the citizens of St Thomas, listen to their suggestions and concerns, develop positive strategies and work to the best of my ability, as a member of City Council, to move our City forward. St Thomas has entered a new era of growth that will create opportunities for new businesses to relocate to our area and for existing businesses to grow, providing jobs and an improved quality of life for our residents. I have the experience, resources and connections to bring people together and get things moving. Checkout my website at www.voteearltaylor.ca for complete details. I respectfully ask for your vote to remain as your voice as a St Thomas City Councillor.
