Peace of Mind Home Organizing, Bringing Calm to Your Heart by Peri Hayes Holly Blair enthusiastically launched Peace of Mind Home Organizing in April of this year. Prior to, she had spent 22 years working within the social services and education fields: “I am so proud of that chapter. Supporting people through life’s challenges has always been at the heart of what I do.” “I’ve always been drawn to creating calm, organized spaces, but it wasn’t until I experienced my own seasons of overwhelm, grief, and change that I truly understood how deeply our environment affects our mental and emotional wellbeing.” Eager to expand her knowledge, Holly began training through Professional Organizers in Canada and became a member. “Through ongoing education and networking with incredible organizers across the country, I learned that organizing is about so much more than tidy spaces -- it’s about improving quality of life.” “My passion for this work is deeply personal,” Holly candidly continues. “Over the years, I’ve experienced profound grief after losing my mom, as well as lived experience with anxiety.” Holly’s personal and professional journey has taught her the ways in which living spaces can have an impact on mental well-being, along with how difficult household upkeep can be during times of turmoil. Holly describes her service with the following sentiment: “Whether you’re drowning in clutter, navigating a life transition, or simply craving a home that feels easier to live in, I meet you exactly where you are -- no judgement, no pressure; just practical, caring support at your pace.” Moreover, Peace of Mind Home Organizing offers senior support and downsizing, ADHD and mental wellness home organizing support, packing and unpacking, as well as maintenance and their reset service. “For a long time, I lacked the confidence to take the leap and pursue something of my own. My mom was a strong, independent woman and she continues to be one of my greatest inspirations. Through my grief, I’ve come to realize that one of the most meaningful ways I can honour her is by taking care of her daughter, me, and allowing myself to follow my dreams.” Holly conveys her gratitude for the spirit of collaboration, and the community support received thus far: “What started as a dream has grown into something I am proud of.” Email or phone (via call or text) Holly at peaceofmindhomeorganizing@ gmail.com and 519-777-9617. To conclude, Holly earnestly ex- presses, “One of the greatest gifts of owning my own busi- ness is something I don’t take for granted -- the freedom to prioritize what matters most, my family. I’ve learned that success isn’t just about building a busi- ness. For me, it’s about building a life that reflects my priorities and allows me to spend my time where it matters most. That free- dom brings me my own kind of peace of mind.” CVD Photography is credited for the accompanying photo.
